The first thing you would want to research is to see where your interest's are. A lot of people that start a business expand their hobbies into a full time enterprise. The point here is to do something you love to do and you will never work a day in your life. There a lots of ways to find out what you are best suited for. Tests can be given by career counselors etc. I am getting off the track here as far as writing about Legitimate Work From Home jobs, although this is absolutely the first step in finding the best work from home job that fits your personality and profile.
No doubt you probably have found out now days how difficult it is to find a legitimate work from home job(s). Everywhere you turn there seems to be another company or person trying to make a quick buck. So how do you really find a Legitimate work from home job and not get yourself caught up in a scam with someone running off with your hard earned money?
Well, there are a number of ways that I can think of. the first thing that you want to do before joining any work from home job or business opportunity, is to see if it really is legitimate. So how do you do that?
The first thing you should do is to see if it is really legitimate is to actually see if it is a scam. Makes sense right? Do this; take the name of the business or opportunity and do a scam search on that opportunity. For instance; let's say you found a business and the name of it is; Earn a million dollars in 6 months. Simply do a Google search that says...Is Earn a million dollars in 6 months a scam? Or is Earn a million dollars in 6 months a legitimate work from home job. Or is earn a million dollars in 6 months a legitimate business opportunity?
Now what you will find is a number of people using the word scam just to get to the top of the search engines and than tell you it is not a scam and try to sell you that opportunity. You might have observed just that, if you have ever done those types of queries with opportunities. However, if you do all the searches the way I describe, it will really help you narrow your find for the Right legitimate work from home job that was made just for you.
You can also do a search that will determine how long the business has been around. For years it has been well established that most offline businesses do not survive more than 5 years. Online businesses disappear by the thousands in a matter of months. Maybe 3 at the most. The reason being is they are not and never had a long term goal of being a legitimate work from home job that can be done strictly on the Internet. The rule of thumb is, if you see a company that purchased a domain name for only a year, you might want to do more research, well let me re-phrase that; you should do more research!
Now it does take some time to get indexed in the search engines but any company worth looking at should have some measurement of traffic in the search engines. Just enter your proposed business opportunity in the search box at http://www.alexa.com/ to see where it stands as far as traffic is concerned. Any Legitimate Work from home business or job should have a rating and should show more than just no results. Now if a company is first starting out, than that is another matter. It is a judgment call on your part to make the choice to join based on your comfort level and your interests.
Should your search include a brick and mortar business than they should have a business phone. So doing a http://yellopages.com/ search could be worth your while. When you find a phone number for your proposed business, call, see if you get a live person. I have found that most of these places just have answering machines or voice mail. Now, this does not mean you eliminate a company, particularly an online company if they do not have a telephone. There are a lot of good companies on the internet that simply do not have the manpower or time to be answering the phone by thousands of callers if they are a popular online business. However, a brick and mortar business should definitely have someone to answer the phone and at the very minimum take messages. Just in case the company does have an offline brick and mortar business you might want to check the local BBB or Chamber of commerce. Any Legitimate Work From Home Business particularly a brick and mortar business would or normally would have complaints lodged at these entities if there was or is constant problems.
Look for TRUSTe certification on a Web-based business's home page. Other organizations also specialize in certifying, rating and reviewing Web-based business. You can and are only limited by the searches on the internet for Legitimate Work From Home Business opportunities and or jobs
One of the last but many ways that I know of to seek out a Legitimate Work From Home Business is to follow up on the testimonies of the company you are researching. The downside of doing this, the company probably will only give you the happy ones. why would they give you someone that could not make it? However, you can ask those happy ones if they know of anyone else with the same company. You can keep repeating this process with as many testimonies as you can get. You can also ask the company why they feel that people fail in the business you are looking at. Testimonies can really be a strong determining factor of the value of a company when utilizing those testimonies to find the truth behind what may be called the facts.
Look for TRUSTe certification on a Web-based business's home page. Other organizations also specialize in certifying, rating and reviewing Web-based business. You can and are only limited by the searches and your own imagination on the internet for Legitimate Work From Home Business opportunities. I wish you the greatest success in making the right choice and connecting with the best Work From Home Opportunity company that you can possibly find.
