What To Do When Looking For Legitimate Work From Home Jobs
The first thing you would want to research is to see where your interest's are. A lot of people that start a business expand their hobbies into a full time enterprise. The point here is to do something you love to do and you will never work a day in your life. There a lots of ways to find out what you are best suited for. Tests can be given by career counselors etc. I am getting off the track here as far as writing about Legitimate Work From Home jobs, although this is absolutely the first step in finding the best work from home job that fits your personality and profile.
No doubt you probably have found out now days how difficult it is to find a legitimate work from home job(s). Everywhere you turn there seems to be another company or person trying to make a quick buck. So how do you really find a Legitimate work from home job and not get yourself caught up in a scam with someone running off with your hard earned money?
Well, there are a number of ways that I can think of. the first thing that you want to do before joining any work from home job or business opportunity, is to see if it really is legitimate. So how do you do that?
The first thing you should do is to see if it is really legitimate is to actually see if it is a scam. Makes sense right? Do this; take the name of the business or opportunity and do a scam search on that opportunity. For instance; let's say you found a business and the name of it is; Earn a million dollars in 6 months. Simply do a Google search that says...Is Earn a million dollars in 6 months a scam? Or is Earn a million dollars in 6 months a legitimate work from home job. Or is earn a million dollars in 6 months a legitimate business opportunity?
Now what you will find is a number of people using the word scam just to get to the top of the search engines and than tell you it is not a scam and try to sell you that opportunity. You might have observed just that, if you have ever done those types of queries with opportunities. However, if you do all the searches the way I describe, it will really help you narrow your find for the Right legitimate work from home job that was made just for you.
You can also do a search that will determine how long the business has been around. For years it has been well established that most offline businesses do not survive more than 5 years. Online businesses disappear by the thousands in a matter of months. Maybe 3 at the most. The reason being is they are not and never had a long term goal of being a legitimate work from home job that can be done strictly on the Internet. The rule of thumb is, if you see a company that purchased a domain name for only a year, you might want to do more research, well let me re-phrase that; you should do more research!
Now it does take some time to get indexed in the search engines but any company worth looking at should have some measurement of traffic in the search engines. Just enter your proposed business opportunity in the search box at http://www.alexa.com/ to see where it stands as far as traffic is concerned. Any Legitimate Work from home business or job should have a rating and should show more than just no results. Now if a company is first starting out, than that is another matter. It is a judgment call on your part to make the choice to join based on your comfort level and your interests.
Should your search include a brick and mortar business than they should have a business phone. So doing a http://yellopages.com/ search could be worth your while. When you find a phone number for your proposed business, call, see if you get a live person. I have found that most of these places just have answering machines or voice mail. Now, this does not mean you eliminate a company, particularly an online company if they do not have a telephone. There are a lot of good companies on the internet that simply do not have the manpower or time to be answering the phone by thousands of callers if they are a popular online business. However, a brick and mortar business should definitely have someone to answer the phone and at the very minimum take messages. Just in case the company does have an offline brick and mortar business you might want to check the local BBB or Chamber of commerce. Any Legitimate Work From Home Business particularly a brick and mortar business would or normally would have complaints lodged at these entities if there was or is constant problems.
Look for TRUSTe certification on a Web-based business's home page. Other organizations also specialize in certifying, rating and reviewing Web-based business. You can and are only limited by the searches on the internet for Legitimate Work From Home Business opportunities and or jobs
One of the last but many ways that I know of to seek out a Legitimate Work From Home Business is to follow up on the testimonies of the company you are researching. The downside of doing this, the company probably will only give you the happy ones. why would they give you someone that could not make it? However, you can ask those happy ones if they know of anyone else with the same company. You can keep repeating this process with as many testimonies as you can get. You can also ask the company why they feel that people fail in the business you are looking at. Testimonies can really be a strong determining factor of the value of a company when utilizing those testimonies to find the truth behind what may be called the facts.
Look for TRUSTe certification on a Web-based business's home page. Other organizations also specialize in certifying, rating and reviewing Web-based business. You can and are only limited by the searches and your own imagination on the internet for Legitimate Work From Home Business opportunities. I wish you the greatest success in making the right choice and connecting with the best Work From Home Opportunity company that you can possibly find.

How to Differentiate Legitimate Work From Home Jobs From False Opportunities
It can sometimes be difficult to find legitimate home jobs with the proliferation of so many scams out there these days. It seems that some people think the best way to make money is to trick others out of their money. These scams will never get you anywhere and more often than not they will end up costing you a lot of money and wasting a lot of your time. To help you avoid scams from the start, you need advice on how to tell legitimate work from home jobs from scams.
Look for Details
One of the biggest signs that a job is a scam is that you do not get a lot of details up front. You are usually told to email or call someone to get more information. Even a small ad for legitimate home jobs will give you an idea of what you will be doing.
Too often people simply see promises of big money, but they forget that they need to find details. Scam job ads will usually have a big headline that says you will make a lot of money. You may be told you will be answering emails or placing ads. These are vague statements that really tell you nothing about what you will do.
One good way to see what to expect from legitimate home jobs is to look at your typical ad for a job outside the home. These job ads usually give good enough information that you know what the job is and you get an idea of what you will be doing. Legitimate home jobs have the same type of ads.
Don't Pay for a Job
Another great sign of a scam is when they ask you to pay before you can start working. Would you ever pay an employer to work for them? In the brick and mortar job market you would you not think an employer is crazy if they ask you to pay to work for them, so why do so many people think it is fine to pay for a work at home job?
Never, ever pay anything to work. You should be the one getting paid, not them. The only exception to this rule is with home party type opportunities where you have to buy your start up kit so you have products to show at your parties. Be careful, though, and make sure the party plan company is a respectable company before paying anything.
Expect to Work
Ads for a scam will usually tell you that you won't have to do much to make a lot of money. If that were true then everyone would have that job. The standard rule that "if it is too good to be true then it probably is" applies here. Legitimate home jobs are just that - jobs. You have to put in work to get paid. Nobody has ever made money doing nothing. Keep that in mind and if you come across a job that just seems too ideal, then investigate because chances are that it is a scam.
There are plenty of legitimate home jobs out there. They are not always easy to find, but they are there. You will have to go job hunting just as you would with your typical search for a job outside the home. It takes time to find the right work at home job, but when you do, you will find that you can make pretty money and the perks of working at home can't be beat.

Legitimate Work From Home Jobs - Checking the Facts First!
You have to be diligent. Yet many people have a lax attitude towards a number of the companies online. This contributes to the increasing number of scams. You have to be willing to question the legitimacy of an operation.
Its almost as if because people are in the comfort of their own home, and have the privilege of easily starting over, they don't seem to check and double check. They tend to throw caution to the wind. And they put up with things they don't have to. After all its the internet, if the opportunity does not work out you can find another with a click of a button. But scams cost us millions of dollars a year.
In extreme cases participators have been prosecuted for unknowingly taking part in a work at home scam. This is a serious issue but you can prevent it from happening to you. Start by thinking of this as a legitimate work at home job hunt instead of a pass time. This means if you would do it when looking for a job offline do it online.
One of the first things you should always look for is contact information. You wouldn't apply for a job that didn't provide contact information offline, so why do it online. But countless people do. You want to make sure you can get in touch with a real person. Thus, look around the site for a phone number, address, fax number anything. Some sites even post their social
networking profiles.
Once you find the information, contact someone. Many people immediately feel reassured once they see a phone number, but because more and more con artists are using fake contact information, its a good idea to call the number or email the web master. This way you can ask any questions you may have.
If you email the business owner, leave 2 days for a reply. Most legitimate work at home jobs usually reply within 24-48 hours. They also tend to leave a quick message on the website if they are away, or are having difficulties with the site. If you haven't heard anything after 4 days move on.
One of the things you should ask when you contact the work at home business is if you can contact others who are with the company in your area. Be suspicious if the company refuses.
When you are looking for a job offline you usually want to make sure that you are qualified, the same applies online. Legitimate work at home jobs will post requirements because they want people who will most likely be successful with the operation.
Be wary of companies that say anyone can do this or are vague in their explanation of the job. Anything that looks too good to be true should be questioned. Real legitimate work at home online jobs do not exaggerate their claims.
But perhaps the number one thing that can both save you time and help you avoid scams is to read the sales page and notice the number adjectives used. Legitimate work at home jobs get straight to the point by using nouns. Scams on the other hand tend to use a lot of adjectives.
For example, a sales page that reads, "You can make money with our work at home jobs" is probably more legit than one that says, "Thousands of people are earning great incomes with our easy to use systems". The more adjectives you see the more likely you're being lied to.
Looking for a legitimate work at home job is not excruciating. If you apply the same mind set you would when looking for an offline job you can bypass many of the scams out there.
